Horseback Riding with Chile Off Track

The 'adventure' segment of the Chile trip was a three hour horseback riding tour with Chile Off Track. Located in the foothills of the Andes only 30 minutes from Santiago the rugged trail was beautiful, adventurous and amazing.

Yes, there was some soreness the next few days, but it was nice to get out of the city and see Chile on the back of a horse. As our group rode along we were accompanied by the trail leaders dogs and encountered wild horses and cattle.

The ride took place in September which is Spring in Chile so the landscape was green and in bloom.

After the ride we enjoyed a picnic lunch and had a wonderful conversation about travel, television and life experiences. A truly lovely day with Chile Off Track.

  1. Fabulous!

I love horseback riding, but don't get to do it that much so I jump on every opportunity that presents itself!

It's definitely a great way to visit the "back country" when travelling! And looks like you guys got some beautiful scenery! Well worth sore bums for a few days... :p
